Misha Beletsky
Misha Beletsky is the President of The Typophiles, Art Director at Abbeville Press, and Distribution Manager for Publications at The Grolier Club. He designs publications for a range of clients, including publishers, museums, and corporations. He has earned a number of awards from design competitions, including AIGA 50 Books of the Year, New York Book Show, I.D. Magazine Design Review, and Carl Hertzog Award for Excellence in Book Design. His work is in permanent collections of major museums and rare book libraries. Misha is an Editorial Board Member of the Type Journal and a member of the Non-Latin Advisory Board of the Type Directors Club. His recent book, The Noblest Roman: A History of the Centaur Types of Bruce Rogers (co-authored with Jerry Kelly) has been awarded the Triennial Prize in American Bibliography from The Bibliographical Society of America. Prior to joining Abbeville, Misha worked as a book designer for Alfred A. Knopf. He holds a degree from the Rhode Island School of Design.
